Samuel Reeves is a human-born artist who grew up in the wild recesses of his imagination. He was fed a steady diet of Saturday morning cartoons and comic books. This helped form his love for art and left a deep and lasting impression on his artistic style. He received classical training in how to use those stick things with the hair at one end at the American Academy of Art In Chicago. That is where he fell in love with the Golden Age of illustration and the Dutch Masters. After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, he became a freelance illustrator doing work for small publications and businesses. Unsatisfied, Sam felt a need to spread his creative works on a larger scale, creating public artworks and fine portraitures. Sam's art has been featured in national watercolor exhibitions, bedeck the walls of breweries around Colorado and has been shown at his mom’s house for years now. Sam’s public works can be found around the Denver area where he currently lives and gets inspiration to create.
