To Build A Home Digital Concept & Finished mural
Residing at Fairfield West Public School, 'To Build a Home' is a mural inspired by the rise of tiny houses, the benefits of upcycling and quirky trinkets from my grandparent's garden. In this image, you'll see what the finished works look like against an illustrated digital concept artwork.
Hi! I am Christina, an illustrator and muralist based in Western Sydney who paints under the name STYNA. My art practice involves the creation of murals, illustrations and picture books from differing mediums of pencil, watercolour, ink and pen to acrylic and aerosol. I am inspired by our natural world, heritage, people, place, and good stories!
I have been painting large-scale murals full-time since 2017, using a combination of exterior, water-based acrylic and aerosol. I completed a Bachelor of Design (in Visual Communication) and majored in illustration at Western Sydney University in 2011.
