This mural is over 1700 square feet, containing three panels creating a three-sided enclosure. "Times Square Triangle" name comes from This three-sided take on the four-sided square. This piece took over a month of planning and three months to hand brush. Moschburg used photography as reference photos to create the layout of the project. All photographs used were recent photos from 2021, to preserve the contemporary feel of the project. This project was a twist on pop art using iconic scenery from Times Square and combining that with Moschburg's unique style. This piece feels like a gallery of massive art all connected through one mural. Each billboard from the scenery is painted like its own individual canvas. Moschburg is proud to present Time Square Triangle. - Though the mural is complete this area is still under development and is being designed as a cocktail/whisky bar to house and store some of Porsches finest supercars. Stay tuned for the completed area!
Moschburg's story is as abnormal as his creations. Mosch was born the youngest of three siblings in Albuquerque, New Mexico. From here, he would embark on a worldwide journey. His father, a military man, moved his family around the globe every four years, allowing Moschburg the opportunity to see parts of the world many dreams of. It began where his father was first stationed in New Mexico, then off to Panama, Guam, England, Japan, Germany, and finally the trek ended in San Antonio, Texas.
The artist, younger than most, was officially a world traveler. He left his home at 17 and moved to Florida to study art and higher education. Despite being the world traveler Mosch is, he still resides in Florida. This marks the longest period the artist has ever lived within the same region. Still, it was this global journey that inspired his creative passions. Florida is the true birthplace of where the artist Moschburg was born.
Moschburg is always trying to recreate the beauty of his travels. All that he creates is a reflection of his experiences. An attempt to capture the emotional value of the collective memories of the world traveled. Throughout the journey, not every corner was friendly to him. In the beginning, Moschburg struggled to get on his creative feet.
He hit rock bottom after he lost his job working as a Deli Manager when his store went bankrupt. Times got dark. Moschburg painted through these rough times with no promise of reward. When he believed he had no way of being able to pay his bills, Moschburg was offered a life-changing art project. He then began to work closely with an artist on a public mural project. This is where Moschburg incorporated his canvas-style paintings to create massive-sized murals. These murals came to change him as an artist. Creating images of deep emotional chaos. He always aspires to create a story as unique as his past. Venturing beyond the abstracts of the mind, each painting is unique with thick layers of untold stories adding to the overall aesthetics of the artwork. You will now find Moschburg tucked away in a studio crafting bizarre scenes of conjectural beauty.
