Blackhearts & Sparrows has grown to become Melbourne's home for boutique wines, and with thirteen stores in Melbourne is undoubtedly the cities best premium bottle-shop.
They approached me to illustrate and design a range of wine labels for their own range of wines 'This Must Be The Place'
The concept was to create a geological theme around the wine labels, showing the layers of soil of each region that the grapes were grown..
With intricate illustration work and simple typographic layout, the result is a striking modern label, that looks as good as it tastes.
