The Shape of Movement (Collaboration with Beci Orpin and Schools)

Commissioned by Kingston City Council, this project began with Beci Orpin and I reaching out to local schools and community groups who surrounded the reserve. We ended up running a series of workshop with children from the two schools. Through fun and freeing activities we encouraged the kids to draw abstractly, asking them, what is the shape of movement? Through collage, chalk drawing and drawing on paper you'll see from these drawings and the mural design the feeling of movement, play and action.
