The Place Interior

‘The Place is a not for profit, community interest building, developed through lengthy community consultation. Supported and funded by ACW, TGP and NCH. Located at the heart of Newport City Centre, the multi-functional art and community space, has been transformed by Tin Shed Theatre Co and a number of artists and organisations.’ - The Place The Place holds a number of artist studios, workshop spaces, meeting spaces, wellbeing studios and more, all for hire, supporting creatives in Newport and surrounding areas, with co-working facilities and networking opportunities. Partially funded by Newport City Council, the murals created by Molly span across the entrance way and also include a feature wall in the living room area of this homely, inspiring venue. Having been aware of Tin Shed Theatre and the exciting work they have created over the years, Molly was over the moon to be given the opportunity to capture their ethos within the joyful shapes she creates.
