The Moons Lament
In a celestial realm where the sun and moon govern the balance of time, a mortal woman named Lyra is caught in a tragic fate. She was once a star, but after falling in love with a human, the gods cast her down to earth, stripping her of her light and immortality. Now, she wanders the night, longing for a love that is lost and a home she can no longer return to.

Meet the Artist
Los Angeles, United StatesI am an LA based artist but my roots and inspiration for art come from all over the world. My roots are Russian, Native American, Spanish, and Scottish. When I was a young girl I would read The Brothers Grimm and was drawn to the folk art illustrations in them…the bright colors and fierce lines. I read the works of Kim Parker from New York, Yahoi Kusama from Japan, Grandma Moses from Greenwhich and many other women artists inspired me. I know I need to paint. Every time I do, I find more of myself.
