The Little things by Jessica Mapstone in London

I'm a London-based artist with a lifelong passion for colour, nature, and creativity. My artistic journey began in childhood, but I began pursuing painting more seriously in 2020. With a background in various creative fields including graphic design, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to my work. My art explores the intersection of contemporary abstract forms and the natural world, often blending bold patterns and geometric shapes with realistic depictions of flora and fauna. I’m especially inspired by my travels, the creatures that share our environment, and the visual principles of the Bauhaus movement. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to share my work with collectors around the globe — from the UK and US to Bermuda, South Africa, Australia, and China. Whether through vibrant palettes or playful composition, I aim to create pieces that spark curiosity and connection.
