The light we have to see by by Jacquie Jordan in Preston
The light we have to see by
Portrait based on the metaphore of the self as a garden. The painting depicts a person sitting in a glade, with vines growing out from their body, with soft light shining on dew drops scattered about the skin and grass on the ground. We can treat our selves as a garden, to nurture the seeds and growth we choose and to attend to old and thorny growth that no longer serves us.
Size: 100cm (W) X 100cm (H)
Meet the Artist
Preston, AustraliaIm an experienced creative skilled in painting to bring your vision to life! Over the last 4 years i have expanded from small scale canvases to larger exterior murals. I balance my love of painting and creativity with thorough planning, organisation and communication to ensure each project is well managed. I am passionate in working to develop a piece that speaks to your dream - from family and pet portraits, to personalised greeting cards, canvas artworks, watercolours, and murals.
I am passionate about the dynamics of life, seeing the beauty and the vibrance of a local area and letting it shine through. My own artistic style draws on natural and fantasy elements - think of rich lush forests, emotive striking sunsets, playful and dynamic native plants and animals, curious mystical creatures and a little of the wierd and wonderful. Ive been fortunate to bring all of these elements to life working with individuals in recent years and I am excited about bringing this forward to public spaces in collaboration with communities and businesses.
I approach each job by working with you to understand your needs and desires to make every piece fully customised and unique. I am fully insured with third party insurance to protect your property as required.
If you are after a mural, I have several years of experience in mural painting and use high quality paints and finishes to give your mural a beautiful long life. You can trust that your art project is in safe hands with me.
