The Humble Exalted by Sid Tapia in Brisbane

Oil painting on Canadian Rock Maple. A few weeks ago, fuelled by faith I went into the city to search for Sia, the man behind my previous oil paintings. It seemed impossible but possible that i could find him as I needed to ask his consent on a few things regarding criteria in certain art prizes that I wanted to enter. I was also very keen to spend some time with him & show him the previous paintings I’ve done with him as the model. To my amazement & joy I found him only 5 or 10min after exiting the train at TownHall. Wow! I hardly recognised him & there he was again humbly asking passers by for change We were both surprised and elated on the encounter to say the least. Throughout our long conversation I’ll never forget the two of us, faces bright, mutually telling each other “God is good.” Another wow factor is that Sia hadn’t been at this particular spot for two weeks and decided that this day he would come by.
