The Great Gig in the sky
This is an approximately 40 ft by 9 ft mural I did for a sweet family in a town named Homestead Valley, right next to Joshua Tree, Ca.
Meet the Artist
San José del Cabo, MexicoMy name is Polly and I'm from Southern California. My style is very surrealistic. It's been described as if Frida and Dali had a baby, while on a Grateful Dead tour, then having tea with Jackson Pollock in the morning. I love the psychedelic vibe of the deserts of Southern California, but also enjoy the richness of the Northern redwoods. My art is also inspired by my Mexican heritage and I enjoy bringing elements of the culture and terrain into my pieces too. I love painting. I love painting big walls to tiny squares.
