THE GREAT GAME

Acrylic / 200m² Mural commissioned by the University of Bielsko-Biala to celebrate Stanislaw Lem’s birth cenentary. Stanislaw Lem was the Polish hard sci-fi writer. His work emphasizes on science and technology, touching the topics such as: human nature, the possibility of communication between intelligent beings or man's place in the universe. The composition is based on the geometric layout of the elevation. It shows the writer playing a game of cosmic chess with his doppelganger in the form of a robot. This is a reference to the technical and humanistic profile of the University.
