The Gift of Strawberries by smallkims in Saint Paul
The Gift of Strawberries
Painted on the side of a lovely citizen's garage near George Floyd Memorial square in Minneapolis. I was commissioned by Beloved Community to design and paint a mural based on the essay "the gift of strawberries" by Robin Wall Kimmerer in 'Braiding Sweetgrass.' Some of the local kids hired by the organization helped paint by filling in the colors as directed by me. Unfortunately, I was not permitted to finish the mural as the organization ran out of funding and did not further communicate with me to find a solution.

Saint Paul, United StatesHey! I'm a queer BIPOC artist in the twin cities selling cutesy and fun ceramics, linocut prints, acrylic and digital paintings, stickers, etc.! I like to try new mediums all the time so it's hard to say what my true 'focus' is.
My favorite themes for inspiration are body positivity, feminism, queer pride, cats, and some of my favorite pop culture things.
