The Fractured: Special Characters
The Fractured Collection was a Layer 3 solution for the Mutant Cartel ecosystem. Through immersive storytelling and mint experiences it looked to expand upon the different faction storylines, engaging the community and bringing them further to life while integrating upon and adding value for the Mutant Cartel brand
Here are some of the unique class of characters that were set to flesh out the Cartel Universe as well as be featured in the top-down building game Serum City
The first two characters (Furong and Aurelia) were Megas, the highest tier, with the following being Elites
Each had a unique back story as well as abilities
Meet the Artist
Barcelona, SpainWoah is the working alias for Jon, a Croatian-born Australian-raised illustrator, artist and muralist currently residing in Barcelona
Drawing inspiration from the depths of his Mind's Eye, his work is a celebration of the psychedelic experience, brimming with outlandish characters, symbolic motifs and intricate line-work pulsing with kaleidoscopic hues and colours
As a self-professed psychonaut, he draws inspiration from my own psychedelic experiences and hallucinogen-fuelled creative sessions. He also love warping the rubber-hose styled cartoons of the 1920’s into his own style, as well as influences from a myriad of other media such as retro games, films and art
Whilst his design style can be quite fluid and adaptable for different briefs, he feels most creative when creating bright, bold and crazy characters fused together into intricately detailed pieces where the viewer can spot something new each time
