Jean-Michel Basquiat’s work is stunning. His life’s work is vivid and is sold and featured for millions worldwide. He’s stated that he was inspired by groundbreaking black “heroes and saints” and that he was continuing the work of his noble lineage. Much of his work is adorned in a crown which recognizes the majesty of those influencers who he considered kings. I consider him royalty.
