In "The Encounter," bold oil brushstrokes convey the charged emotions of a chance meeting. Each stroke captures the tension, curiosity, and potential connection shared between strangers. It's a fleeting yet profound moment frozen in time, inviting viewers to feel the intensity of human connection through expressive artistry.
Born in Ukraine, with a lifelong passion for art, I embarked on my artistic journey from an early age, honing my skills through formal education at art schools, lyceums, and ultimately, an art university. Throughout my formative years, I actively participated in various art exhibitions in Kherson and Kyiv cities, cultivating my artistic vision and refining my technique.
However, my artistic pursuits were temporarily sidelined as I ventured into the world of tourism, working across the USA, Turkey, and Greece. Despite this hiatus, my passion for art remained undiminished, and upon witnessing the upheaval of the full-scale invasion, I felt compelled to return to my artistic roots.
Resuming my artistic endeavors, I embarked on a profound exploration of the human condition amidst conflict, resulting in the creation of the evocative series titled "War on Us." These poignant paintings, exhibited with the esteemed FASIYA ART Project in Kiel, serve as a powerful testament to the impact of war on individuals and communities.
Currently based in Berlin, I continue to produce art that delves into themes of woman empowerment, exploring the multifaceted nature of a woman's place and destiny in the world. Through a diverse range of mediums including oil paints, acrylics, pencil, and graphic art, I employ a symbolic and abstract style to evoke thought-provoking narratives and stir emotional resonance.
My artistic journey is characterized by a deep commitment to advocating for gender equality and amplifying the voices of women through visual storytelling. Each artwork I create serves as a catalyst for dialogue, challenging societal norms and inspiring positive change.
With a rich tapestry of experiences spanning continents and cultures, I am dedicated to using my art as a medium for social commentary and cultural expression. As I continue to push the boundaries of my creativity, I remain steadfast in my mission to illuminate the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
