**Whirling Soul in Gold** For this piece, I used texture sand paste to create depth and richness in the background, giving it an aged, mystical feel. The swirling patterns and earthy tones blend seamlessly, creating a sense of movement and history. The focal point is the golden whirling dervish, whose flowing form merges with elegant calligraphy, symbolising a spiritual journey through dance. The contrast between the textured, rustic background and the luminous gold figure enhances the energy of the piece, making the dancer appear as if they are truly in motion. Every stroke and texture was intentional, bringing out the essence of devotion, rhythm, and transcendence.
