The Child Mind

A painting from my series “Punk Rock Zen: Harmony in Chaos” The child deep in thought surrounded by the muck of life that can develop in adults creating doubt and fear. His thoughts, the birds, fly freely around him clear to go in any direction to explore endless possibilities. The beauty of a child's mind is how open it is to possibilities. As adults we tend to limit our possibilities with the "knowledge" we acquire through life. What if we looked at things from a child's prospective? To approach situations, relationships or tasks with no preconceived ideas of what it will be like but rather to just be excited about the new experience, even if we have been thought it 100 times.
