Sara Bernardi is an illustrator specializing in linoleum art printing and mixed media techniques. She graduated in Comics and Illustration and Fine Arts Graphics from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, fields that converge in her super messy project called “A messy studio,” which was born in 2018 and encompasses her world of illustration and printing on paper and fabric. As the Creative Director of the International Illustration Competition BOit!, she has worked as a freelance illustrator for independent magazines, bookstores, associations, individuals, and publishing houses, and as an illustration teacher at the Art Exchange Association in Bologna. She loves illustration in all its forms and strives with all her heart to make even those unfamiliar with its fascinating facets passionate about it.
