March 2002, he organized a group of artists which used construction helmets donated from Ground zero workers to make display art for NY Historical Society Museum show for 9/11 art:Missing.By Sept 02,he was inspired to paint custom graffiti hats from a vendor stand in Soho and later in 03. and eventually at a Times Square location.2005, he won a precedent setting lawsuit vs City of NY for painting art on clothes.
