The Adventure Library 2021
In 2021 I was one of 150 artists employed by Regional Arts Victoria for the Creative Workers in Schools Program. Over 6 months I worked across all year levels with students in a regional primary school in Victoria. Each year group designed and created their own installations around the school campus.
The Adventure Library (pictured here) - Year 2 & 3
The Art & Sport Wall - Year 6
Bush Kitchen & Friendship Sea - Preps and Year 1
A Melbourne Landscape - Years 4 & 5
Measured risky and child-led play were the key art tools years. Each group designed and installed their works scaffolded by me and their teachers. The worked with traditional and non-traditional medium, creating colour and vibrant ephemeral installations across their school campus.
Mediums: pallets, recycled timbers, fabric, found objects, bamboo poles and acrylic paints. Various sizes.
Meet the Artist
Sydney, AustraliaI am a NSW based artist who works in a variety of mediums across a multitude of platforms. I create murals in collaboration with community and work with children and young people to create ephemeral installations based on the concept of measured risky play. I am available for mural work, workshops, collaborative projects with community and commissions for drawing and painting.
