Thamesmead Mural by Jeru Nomi in Kingston upon Thames
Thamesmead Mural
Inspired by the nature, architecture and the history of Thamesmead, I designed and installed a mural in the style of the arts and crafts movement. The work stands on three, 15 metre wide air vents placed between the estate and the Southmere lake. Commissioned by Peabody the mural is part of a wider art trail curated to rejuvenate the area.

Kingston upon Thames, United KingdomMuralist, illustrator and animator based in South West London.
Jeru’s visual language revolves around her linear based illustrations, which are unique and instantly recognisable. She has been creating work out of lines since 2007 using this signature style in illustration, animation and more recently street art. Her work aims to tell a story by using a vibrant colour palette and a mix of pattern, the heart of all her designs is narrative.
Jeru uses a variety of mediums to create her work from spray paint to acrylic, pen to pencil and digital to hand made. She is happy to replicate or work with a designs or create something completely new.
