Terra Veritas (Truth of the Earth) by Caleb Williams in Asaba

Terra Veritas (Truth of the Earth)

In this mixed-media collage, I depict the delicate balance of our planet's climate. A textured globe, ethereal clouds, and a slender tree branch symbolize hope and resilience. Dark blues and greys on the left represent pollution, with torn newspaper headlines and factory silhouettes highlighting humanity's impact. Warm hues on the right evoke urgency, with distorted glass and torn plastic depicting melting ice caps. Intricate patterns and textures convey the complexity and beauty of our planet's climate, inviting contemplation on the fragility and beauty of our world. - Medium: Mixed media (acrylic, ink, and digital elements) - Size: 44" x 52" - Location: Created in my studio in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria - Materials: Canvas, acrylic paints, ink, and digital software (Adobe Photoshop) This piece is an artwork from my personal collection.
