TD International Women's Day Live Painting by Elise Conlin in Toronto

I am a Toronto-based artist who works across a multitude of mediums, specializing in illustration and mural work. My work explores themes of growth and community, and is usually inspired by ideas of connecting to your roots, organic shapes of flora and fauna, and the limited colour palettes of vintage book dust jackets. I have experience working both small and large scale, up to 50ft x 20 ft, with both latex and aerosols. My editorial illustration work has been featured in publications such as UofT Medical Magazine, Octopus Publishers, and EnRoute Magazine. I love incorporating bright colours, graphic shapes, and elements of nature in my designs, working both small and large scale. In my spare time I’m usually found cycling in the city, learning how to execute a new renter’s home reno task, or sewing a new outfit from a vintage pattern.
