Taraxa Installation
An imagined world of fantastical creatures that emerged through unpredictable relationships and a symbiotic system, thinking of existence as a multi species process, as all living and non-living entities are interrelated and interconnected.
In this installation the viewer is invited to touch, spin and play with the sculptures. I’m interested in how humans relate to living entities and by creating new ‘living’ forms which haven’t been categorised or have an identity, I’m fascinated by what new relations, ideas and connections could emerge.
Meet the Artist
Kidlington, United KingdomI'm an Oxfordshire based artist. I paint murals as well as creating sculpture installations. Nature is a compelling part of my work which incorporates decorative arrangements of organic forms, flora, and wildlife, creating a distinctive hand drawn style which displays a fluidity of movement through the use of patterns, lines and colour.
I draw inspiration from exploring the natural and built environments around me, from wandering city streets to hiking in forests and mountains, capturing moments of stillness and chaos, embracing and absorbing the beauty in every moment.
