Tapir Mural

For this project, my client wanted an animal to represent Latino culture. I sketched a Tapir and revised it with my client. With the approval of the illustration, I printed out the illustration in big sections and used a graphite transfer technique to copy & paste the design onto the wall. Once the stencil of the illustration was complete, the rest of the painting was a walk in the park! I layered the paint and rendered the illustration to it's reference image and lastly added a varnish to seal it altogether. The dimensions for the mural was 75" W x 96" H and took a total of 4 days to complete.
