As a part of my AP portfolio on nostalgia, this piece was meant as a reflection to the societal standards of childhood from an adult perspective. The girl in the photo is a teenager reflecting on her past, as represented by the duck. This piece was done with oil pastels, and is a good display of my love for difficult detail work with the water distortions towards the bottom.

Chicago, United StatesI am a college student currently studying Music Ed at Olivet Nazarene University. Previously studying Studio Art, I have taken college level courses for art throughout high school gaining awards for my pieces in events such as the Scholastic Art Awards and a finalist position in a local Fine Arts Showcase. I have a love of all things color, and enjoy excelling in all types of mediums, as I am a lover of learning! You will notice a lot of my portfolio pieces reside from my AP Portfolio, where I themed it on nostalgia and the use of color to demonstrate the emotion.
