i haven’t seen my family and friends for almost 3 years, and sometimes it is hard. to cope with the distance and longing, i’ve started painting still life artworks depicting foods i used to love as a child 🥲 for me it is a way of connecting with my roots and remembering the memories of family gatherings. my art became my therapy and a source of comfort and strength 💫 this series of artworks serve as a bridge between my past and present, a testament to the power of food to connect us to our roots and nourish our souls✨ p.s. for my non slavic friends, this chocolate bar is called syrok or curd snack. it’s the best thing is the world. and growing up planned to open a factory producing those Acrylic on canvas 20 x 20 x 2 cm
