Meet the Artist
Torrevieja, SpainI seem to have been drawing and painting for ever but only formally studied contemporary arts when I retired. As a member of Dundee Art Society I regulary sumbitted paintings at their quarterly exhibitions, other exhibitions include Discovery Point Centre, Dundee, Auld Kirk Tayport, Broughty Ferry Art Society, British Chamber of Commerce Vilnius, as well as a range of independent venues in Eastern Europe and Spain. I find art a very sociable activity and frequently provide drawing classes to support art groups in Costa Blanca where I now live and work. In recent years commissions have mainly been for portraits often to celebrate family members, pet portraits and wild life also feature. I work in a wide range of media including: charcoals, graphite, watercolour, gouache, acrylics, and oils. I thrive on challenges and often work from digital or old photos provided by clients.
