Sunshine State of Mind by ROSELLY MONEGRO in Los Angeles
Sunshine State of Mind
This interactive mural was created for Hello Sunshine's "Shine Away" women's conference event in 2023, which took place in Downtown Los Angeles. The mural features a vibrant design with a mix of abstract shapes representing the sun and ocean. The central focus of the mural is a beautifully crafted typographic design that reads "Sunshine State of Mind." The color palette consists of bright yellows and deep blues, evoking the warmth of the sun and the coolness of the ocean.
The mural serves as a participatory art piece where attendees are encouraged to leave their mark by signing it. Signatures, messages, and notes from the event participants cover the mural, creating a collaborative and dynamic piece of art that reflects the positive energy of the event. The branding for "hello sunshine" and "SHINE AWAY," connected by AT&T, is also prominently featured on the mural. The overall aesthetic is uplifting and joyful, perfectly aligning with the theme of the conference.
