LOLA LISTER is a Brisbane born painter, sculptor and ceramicist. After having completed her Bachelor of Fine Art at the National Art School in Darlinghurst, Sydney, she is now establishing herself as an emerging artist in Melbourne from her inner-city studio. With a strong focus on illustrative abstraction, she brings her unique line to the larger than life scale of her mural work, inviting a fresh realisation in the world of public art. Weaponising her education and ongoing practice of fine art with years of street activity, LOLA harmonises the elements of fragility, discernment and emotion with the energy and material process of graffiti in a powerful display of skilled experience. LOLA has been featured in successful publications and an array of artist-run and commercial gallery spaces throughout her budding career in Sydney, Wollongong, Brisbane and Melbourne.
