Staring comp with a sun by Wylie E S. in Eltham

Staring comp with a sun

I write short stories and there was one that I wrote about a man not knowing what the sun was. He thought that he could stare the sun down. He thought he had triumphed but the sun decided not to set. The man starting to fatigue started to hold his head and with the will to defy the natural events of the world. He held the gaze. The sun began to rise again and glare down on the ambitious man. He stands still today as a skeletal being still holding his head up. It’s suppose to be a message about you can only do so much and so little at the same time. But it’s whatever you make of the the picture Drawing on paper a1 ink and pastel
