Spinoff: Scattershots by Dido in Christchurch

Spinoff: Scattershots

Scattershots 2021, Digital, 4000*2400px. One of many commissions for the Spinoff, working alongside Toby Morris to create this piece for JP Pomare's Scattershots. This illustration had a week turn-around; however, the imagery was so evocative, it basically drew itself. The process was a simple sketch, which only had the gesture, then as it progressed it evolved adding more elements from the text. This can often be quite intimidating for some client's as they only get the 'feeling' and they have to trust that the creative process can often turn at a moment's notice. Fortunately Toby is a veteran and deeply experienced in working with artists, and I had his trust which made for an evocative image for the text.
