Soul Santuary

I painted this wooden gate in Costa Rica for a private retreat centre. The owner comissioned me to paint this piece to reflect her business and vision. I used acrylic paints and sealed it with polyurethane to protect it from the high humidity of the environment. The owner was specific on colours which happened to be exactly in my bright colour palette style. This over water sunset scene holds a lotus flower which signifies the feminine energy in this off-grid, healing, nature oasis.
