Solace by Jam Kusack in Vancouver

Solace

An illustration done in Procreate for an assignment in which we had to derive an image from the word ‘Solace’. My interpretation is about the comfort found in the cycle of life, and in turn, death. Matter cannot be created or destroyed, and the material that makes up a dying creature will find itself within new life eventually, passing the torch and finding solace in letting go.
