SOB City Rockass - Kids Workshop by AT-8 in Berlin

In collaboration with the youth center Juze in Schrobenhausen and a local company, I led a hands-on graffiti workshop designed to give young participants real-world experience. Following a preparatory workshop, the goal was to allow them to apply their newly acquired skills under authentic conditions and to understand, step by step, how a professional client commission is successfully executed. From the initial brainstorming and concept development to the final implementation on a large-scale wall, the participants experienced how commissioned artwork is structured and brought to life. Teamwork, responsibility, and a mindful approach to working in public space were central throughout the project. The material procurement process was also intentionally included. In cooperation with a local painting company, we sourced the necessary materials regionally, which helped reduce overall costs while teaching the importance of using local resources and building sustainable community networks. The project was also featured in the local newspaper, providing meaningful recognition for the dedicated work of everyone involved.
