SNOOP LOOPER by SPOOKERNOX in Valencia
SNOOP LOOPER
In collaboration with Jaguar Shoes Collective, this work is an immersive set of interior murals from wall to floor to ceiling including anamorphic cloud systems.
This work is inspired by speculation regarding the coming of Artificial Intelligence.
So, enter a world as it grows, filling with armies of tiny robots, each one intelligent, co-operating like worker bees, hybrids; part organic, part mechanical… deployed to reconstruct infrastructure, inch by inch, in a gorgeous swirling and artificial ’swarm’.
Meet the Artist
Valencia, SpainI am an artist based in Valencia, Spain and Winchester, UK. I have been painting at scale for over 15 years and have a diverse Resume that stretches from Fine Art Painting to Publishing. Being Inspired by everything in my field of vision has led me into wildly different projects and many different roles; Writer / Illustrator, publishing with Abrams and Tate Publishing, as a Mural Painter in the US, Russia as well as Europe, as a Contemporary Artist showing in many Galleries, Screen Printer, Sculptor and Illustrator for Blue Chip companies such as BBC Penguin, HBO and Sony. I have also participated in community projects through Festival Art Direction and School Outreach. Research trips and Residencies in such diverse places as an Artist Community in Crimea, A Cave in Idaho, A Prison in Quito, Ecuador and a Manor House in the English Countryside have further informed my work.
