Small workshop - Learn to paint a Rick and Morty by Stephen Page in London
Small workshop - Learn to paint a Rick and Morty
This bespoke workshop was created for two participants who wanted to learn the fundamentals of large-scale drawing and painting through the creation of artwork inspired by Rick and Morty.
The session focused on understanding proportion, scaling techniques, and transferring character designs from reference images onto a larger surface. Participants were guided through each stage of the process, learning how to accurately map out their artwork before developing their confidence with paint application, colour selection, and finishing techniques.
Working independently, each participant created their own large-scale Rick character, applying the skills they had learned throughout the workshop. To complete the final composition, a Morty character was created alongside the participants' work, resulting in a cohesive and visually engaging set of pieces that they could enjoy together.
By combining practical drawing methods with hands-on painting experience, the workshop offered an enjoyable introduction to character art while providing participants with the satisfaction of creating finished artwork that exceeded what they thought possible at the start of the session.
Meet the Artist
London, United KingdomCreativity has always been at the centre of what I do. Drawn to the power of visual storytelling and the ability of art to transform spaces, I have spent years developing a practice that combines creativity, technical skill, and collaboration to create work that leaves a lasting impression.
My inspiration comes from people, places, and shared experiences. I am fascinated by the way artwork can influence how we feel within a space, spark conversations, and bring individuals together around a common idea. Whether working on a community project, a private commission, or a large-scale commercial installation, I approach each project with the same belief: great work is created through collaboration.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, from global brands and charities to schools, hospitality venues, and private individuals. While every project has its own objectives, I enjoy the challenge of interpreting a vision, understanding the unique requirements of a space, and finding creative solutions that bring ideas to life. No project has ever been identical, and no challenge has proven insurmountable. Adapting to new environments, overcoming obstacles, and delivering work that exceeds expectations is a process I genuinely enjoy.
I take particular pride in my ability to work closely with others. Some of the most rewarding moments in my career have come from seeing a shared vision evolve from an initial conversation into a finished piece that people can experience, enjoy, and connect with. The collaborative journey is just as important to me as the final outcome.
Trusted by organisations including Nike, Wempe, Salesforce, Subway, Action for Children, and numerous commercial and private clients, I have developed a reputation for delivering high-quality work within demanding timeframes and challenging environments. My projects have taken me across the UK and beyond, and I remain enthusiastic about travelling wherever creativity and opportunity lead.
For me, every project is an opportunity to create something unique, solve a new challenge, and leave a positive, lasting impact on the people and spaces involved.
