Born in 1987 in Brasília, Brazil, Mairanny is a multidisciplinary artist with a background that spans fashion illustration, painting, and graffiti. She has lived and worked in Argentina, Uruguay, the United States, London, and is currently based in Brazil. Her artistic journey began in 2007, and in 2019, she expanded her practice into graffiti. In 2020, she was selected by the @instagrafite community to join the world’s first professional training program exclusively for female visual artists. Mairanny’s work is inspired by 1980s retrofuturism — blending vintage aesthetics with futuristic elements. Neon colors, bold typography, and positive messages are recurring themes in her murals. Since 2022, she has focused on expanding her graffiti portfolio internationally, starting in London. She has painted for a variety of clients including The Dictionary Hostel, Premier Backpacking Hostel, Pizza Pilgrims Shoreditch, The Canvas Cafe, Funky LND Barbershop, The Generator Hostel (London & Copenhagen), and Flower Burger in Milan. She is currently open for new projects and commissions, bringing vibrant and meaningful art to walls across Europe and beyond.
