Shut up, kiss me. by Mr C. in Melbourne

I am a Naarm/Melbourne based visual artist primarily practicing in oil and acrylic painting, murals and sculpture. My work attempts to portray the intrinsic beauty of our natural and manmade surroundings while at the same time exploring the innate qualities of the materials I work with. Over the years my works have been exhibited in a variety of Melbourne and interstate shows, in galleries such as Kingston Arts Centre, Backwoods Gallery, No Vacancy and Revolver Upstairs. My first opportunity to paint professional murals came in 2006 for Melbourne Central shopping centre which lead to 6 more commissions spread out between that centre and Highpoint. Since then I’ve had the fortune to work with clients such as Puma, Starbucks and Vicinity Centres, displaying my artwork in most of the major shopping centres around Melbourne, corporate events, and in public spaces.
