Shop Sign for Literacy pirates

Mural and signage completed for Literacy Pirate’s ‘flagship’ on Kingsland Road, Hackney. Literacy Pirates are a charity that work with children aged 9-12 whose teachers think they would benefit from extra help. One of the ‘Young Pirates’ came up with the idea for the front of the building having tentacles rising out of the sea, against a sun rise. Together with the LP team, we developed this idea into a workable design. Painting took just under 4 days to complete.
