Meet the Artist
Warrawee, AustraliaI work in a variety of mediums: oil paint, watercolours, ink, charcoal, pencil, pyrography and making clay sculptures.
Illustrating or painting with a contemporary aesthetic with usually nature and wildlife as the main subjects. Inspired by the dutch masters, classical painters as well as impressionists, gives an interesting blend of realism seen in classical with influences of impressionists seen with textural brushstrokes or palette knife elements in oil painting. Mixing abstract elememts at times with illustrative watercolour, the contrast keeps the artwork design elements interesting with feeling.
