Seven Pillars in Abbey Street by Gianinna in London

Seven Pillars in Abbey Street

They used to call them the Seven Pillars of Wisdom. Might be because they improved the appearance of a bleak and grey corridor to the local shops of a state in Bermondsey. One neighbour used to get me lunch every day when I was on site, another one used to bring a cushion for me to not sit on the cold pavement, another used to place next to me a box of Ribena juice every time she used to get her 6 pack of beer. I loved to paint there. Lovely people. Commissioned by Southwark Council.
