Inspired by John William waterhouse's 'A mermaid'- this was a private mural commission in a home in Victoira's coastal regions. The house was by the sea and the client wanted something capturing the surroundings and loved John William Waterhouse's work. He loved the idea of a mermaid. It's painted using acrylics and water based house paint.
