Scooby Doo by Octavia Oceen in Tacoma

Scooby Doo

I got the opportunity to get some guidance from the Hanna-Barbera artist Eddie Harris in his later years. One of our first events together was a Good Guys car show where we were live painting. He wanted to know how good I was so he brought in a small colored print of Scooby do on regular printer paper and told me to paint it. Not only was it my first time using n airbrush but it was one of my first times live painting I was probably 15 or 16 years old. He was amazed at my ability to color match and replicate the picture near perfectly. There were alot of pin stripe artists in our area live pin striping cars and that's what got me to do the pin stripe design on the side. I ended up using mix of air brush and regular hand painting. I also was using water based acrylics for the first time which I learned to love (cotex paint)
