School Mural - Stalyhill Juniors by Oskar with a K in Manchester

At Stalyhill Junior School, I led a participatory mural project transforming a 38m x 1.7m playground wall into a vibrant artwork. The process began with an assembly to inspire 280 students, followed by a collage workshop where each class contributed to an eight-word message forming the mural’s theme. Using student designs, I created a digital mockup for approval before sketching the mural on the wall. Selected students painted alongside me, fostering creativity and teamwork. Completed in four days, the mural now brightens the school, instilling pride and a sense of ownership in students and staff.
