This piece is a close-up of an air freshener in my sister's car. I used charcoal and graphite to create a unique dynamic of the contrasting reflections of each aspect of the subject. This was a study on light and reflections, so that I could work on my technique for getting a good range in values.
I am a college student currently studying Music Ed at Olivet Nazarene University. Previously studying Studio Art, I have taken college level courses for art throughout high school gaining awards for my pieces in events such as the Scholastic Art Awards and a finalist position in a local Fine Arts Showcase. I have a love of all things color, and enjoy excelling in all types of mediums, as I am a lover of learning! You will notice a lot of my portfolio pieces reside from my AP Portfolio, where I themed it on nostalgia and the use of color to demonstrate the emotion. I hope to inspire you with joy on your journey!
