This is my first mural in 2020 during Covid. It was done for a backpacker residency. Free hand mandala suing earthy colors
This is my first mural created in 2020 during Covid era, holds a special significance. Amidst uncertainty, I chose to infuse this backpacker residency with a vibrant symbol of resilience and unity. Executed freehand, the mandala mural speaks of the organic connection between humanity and the earth. Using a palette of earthy colors, I’ve created a tapestry of warmth and grounding, inviting travelers to find solace and connection in its intricate patterns. Amidst the chaos of the times, this mural stands as a beacon of hope and renewal, reminding all who encounter it of the enduring beauty that emerges from even the most challenging of times.
I am an Italian-Mexican artist based in Sydney, Australia, with a lifelong passion for art. Growing up immersed in vibrant colors and textiles, I’ve always been drawn to creative expression. As a full-time textile print designer, I craft exclusive patterns for fashion, interiors, and various surfaces, while also exploring my love for painting and mural creation.
My work often combines diverse materials, such as oil paint and fabric collage, to bring depth and texture to each piece. For me, art is not just about aesthetics; it’s about communicating emotions and stories through colors and shapes. I truly believe in the transformative power of art as a tool for self-expression, and I couldn’t imagine my life without it.
