Rumble Studios Internal Mural Project

The creative team at Rumble Studios Sydney, commissioned me to bring this mural artwork to life in the reception area of their amazing recording studio. The concept was for something black and white, that filled the entire wall, with thick cloudy paint that created an abstract pattern the view could get lost in. After a few rounds of sketches, we landed on this pattern of loose "clouds" that bubble towards an abstract sunset in the upper middle. The view can "see whatever they want to see" and maybe see a new thing every time they look at it. We used a softened black and a natural-white to make sure the wall didn't feel too intimidating or make the room feel small or claustrophobic. I love the feeling it gives the room and I loved working with Rumble Studios.
