“Blue Reveries” - 17’x8’ Interior Acrylic Paint The piece weaves disparate influences together using traditional Japanese paintings of nature, wavy design motifs specific to the hippie era and Art Nouveau’s principle of nature being ornate. Together they create an imaginary ecosystem, a new world in a trance meticulously painted through form, repetition, and movement layered with flora and fauna of the natural world. The viewer is invited into a flow of reveries. Downtown, VANCOUVER - 2022
